Job Description BPN Staffing Solutions is offering all qualified Nurses and Allied Healthcare Professionals opportunities that fit their specific needs and desires. We offer travel contracts, local contracts, and PRN opportunities for Healthcare Professionals in the Carolinas and throughout the nation. BPN is seeking OT Pediatrics that provides care for patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The OT Pediatrics provides care for critically ill patients, monitors the condition of patients in telemetry units, and administers medication. They also advise patients and their families on post-hospital care. Due to the broad range of medical conditions the OT Pediatrics will encounter, they must be well‑versed in various health conditions. Must Haves Minimum 2 years of experience required; 3 years preferred Experience in assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with feeding/eating difficulties required; experience with swallowing disorders preferred Experience with patients ranging 18 months and older is required; ages 8 months and older is preferred Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program, OR Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program if graduated prior to 2004 Experience in pediatric general developmental occupational therapy
