Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This professional will provide care for patients in various settings, ensuring optimal respiratory function and established protocols are followed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical ventilation for patients in critical care environments.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analyses from arterial lines and punctures.
• Assist with intubations as needed.
• Provide respiratory assessments and therapies to patients of all ages, specifically adults.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
• Adhere to departmental protocols and participate in ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) will be reviewed.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Experience in critical care and mechanical ventilation is essential.

Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work nights, with every other weekend availability. The Respiratory Therapist will never be the only practitioner on-site during shifts, ensuring a collaborative team environment.
