Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves working night shifts (3x12 hours) from 7 PM to 7 AM, with set schedule rotations that may include three consecutive shifts, depending on departmental needs. The nurse will be required to work every other weekend, with advance notice provided for scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient treatment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate clearly with patients and their families regarding care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in departmental activities to improve patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas State or Compact RN License required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
