Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)

As a C.N.A. at AdviniaCare, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vitals and reporting findings to the nursing and medical staff, and helping with safety and medical procedures. You will also have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our residents and their families, and contribute to a warm and welcoming community.

Responsibilities:

• Strive to always maintain patient comfort and safety and well-being
• Monitor vitals and patient behavior, report findings to the nursing and medical staff
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Help with safety and some medical procedures
• Act as companions to patients and accompany them on walks or other activities they enjoy
• Document information accurately and thoroughly
• Clean rooms and bed linens, stock supplies
• Assist with other duties as needed

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills, detail oriented, patient, compassionate, and empathetic
• Good collaboration and teamwork skills
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
• Comfortable working with specific populations of patients, including elderly patients and those with special needs
• Be at least 18 years old
• Up-to-date immunization records
• Pass a criminal background check
• Pass the State Exam and register as a Certified Nurse Aide
