Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for its Hood River, Oregon laboratory service center. The role involves performing blood collections, specimen processing, patient service, and administrative support with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic panels
• Process and prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen records accurately and timely
• Provide exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven customer service excellence
• Flexibility to work overtime and rotating Saturdays
