The focus of the program is to provide a life-long love of learning. Our staff is made of loving and dedicated teachers who understand each child’s needs. They are highly qualified childhood educators who can use their creativity and the Goddard Developmental Guidelines as the basis for unique lesson plans that are brought to life in a fun and imaginative way.

Daily Responsibilities

Our staff support includes the following responsibilities:

• Crossing Guard - Helping Students cross driveway to get to the playground
• Distributing daily catered lunch to classroom
• Cleaning kitchen (including microwaves, refrigerators, etc.)
• Covering teacher lunch breaks
• Participating in staff and training meetings
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level
• Supporting Lead teachers while assisting in the classroom
• Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
• Building teamwork
• Committing to continuing education

Job Requirements:

• Child Care Experience preferred: 1 year

Teacher Qualifications:

• CDA or associates in Early Childhood Education or closely related field
• Prior experience working with children
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
