Job Description

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist performs advanced computed tomography procedures, producing detailed sectional and 3D images for diagnosis and guiding interventional and therapeutic interventions. They ensure patient safety and image quality while adhering to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Execute complex CT procedures with precision and professionalism.
• Review and document patient clinical histories, ensuring accuracy in PACS.
• Prepare and review contrast questionnaires, administer contrast media as prescribed, and verify exam appropriateness.
• Communicate with radiologists and physicians to clarify prescriptions and obtain additional clinical information.
• Monitor patients during scans for adverse reactions and ensure their safety.
• Maintain equipment, records, and documentation adhering to facility standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Hold NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License and ARRT R.T.(R) certification.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiological positioning.
• Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Achieve ARRT (CT) certification within 12 months of hire.
