Join Boston University as a Senior AI DevOps Specialist We are building a world-class AI Engineering team to innovate and implement cutting-edge AI applications. This role involves deploying, monitoring, and supporting AI models and applications across various environments, collaborating with full-stack developers, and managing infrastructure using containerization and cloud technologies. The position is primarily remote with periodic on-campus meetings. Responsibilities: Deploy AI applications, agents, and related infrastructure Support collaborative development efforts Manage and fine-tune AI models Monitor and optimize infrastructure Ensure security, compliance, and continuous improvement Required Skills and Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant experience Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS) and multi-environment deployment Experience with hosting and fine-tuning LLM/SLM models Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) and AI frameworks (prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, MCP, A2A) Experience with DevOps practices, scalable architectures, and security standards Benefits: Paid time off, including intersession break and holidays Retirement plan with full vesting after 2 years Tuition assistance for employees and family Additional Information: Boston University values staff development through training, events, and peer engagement.
