Check us out at Role Description This full-time, on-site Licensed Veterinary Technician role. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing high-quality nursing care to emergency and specialty patients, assisting veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures, and monitoring patients before, during, and after anesthesia. The technician will perform technical tasks such as venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory diagnostics, imaging support, advanced procedures, and medication administration while maintaining accurate medical records. The role includes educating clients on treatment plans, postoperative care, as well as collaborating closely with the veterinary team to ensure efficient, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Animal Care and Pet Care skills, with a focus on patient comfort, monitoring, and handling in emergency and specialty settings. Candidates should possess Veterinary Technology skills, including proficiency in clinical procedures, diagnostic testing, imaging support, and accurate medical recordkeeping. Candidates should possess Anesthesiology skills, including safe anesthetic induction, monitoring, recovery, and pain management under veterinarian supervision. Candidates should possess Client Education skills, enabling clear, empathetic communication about treatment plans, home care, and preventive health. Experience in emergency or specialty veterinary practice is preferred (not required), with comfort in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment. Ability to work flexible shifts, including holidays as needed.
