Confidential Employer. Job Description Manage insurance defense litigation matters from initial case evaluation through resolution. Develop case strategy and provide practical, results-focused recommendations to clients. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other litigation documents. Conduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, and other proceedings. Communicate directly with clients and provide clear case evaluations, status updates, and strategic guidance. Manage deadlines, discovery, experts, and litigation strategy across an active caseload. Collaborate with partners, associates, and support professionals on complex matters. Assist with trial preparation and handle courtroom responsibilities appropriate to your experience. Qualifications Active New Mexico Bar license in good standing. 7+ years of attorney experience. 2+ years of insurance defense litigation experience. Strong litigation, legal writing, research, and case management skills. Excellent judgment and client communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid Albuquerque environment.
