Associate Material Analyst

Associate Material Analyst Salary Range : $52,000 - $60,000 depending on experience. Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (TABS) offers an Associate Material Analyst opportunity at its Lake Forest, CA location. Toshiba is a global leader in digital displays, document security, and software solutions, and has a 150‑year heritage. The role supports the planning, forecasting, and scheduling of service parts and finished goods inventory for in‑house and third‑party dealer teams across the Americas. Summary Responsible for entry‑level planning, forecasting, and scheduling of inventory under the direction of management, conducting analytics and generating departmental reports to monitor trends and meet departmental metrics. Responsibilities Plan, forecast, schedule, and maintain inventory to deliver parts to support in‑house (Toshiba) and third‑party dealer teams in the Americas geography. Learn to leverage TABS planning tools and analytics to enable effective monitoring and fine‑tuning of planning rules, preparing forecasts on a weekly and monthly basis, and participate in miscellaneous department projects. Analyze usage patterns, seasonality, and other indicators to maximize order fill rates while achieving days of inventory (DOI) targets and minimizing air shipment expenses. Perform cost‑benefit analysis as assigned under management direction. Coordinate communication throughout the supply chain when supply issues arise. Escalate issues and assist in expediting deliveries to ensure positive customer experiences. Conduct entry‑level root‑cause analysis of planning issues and risks, including KPI monitoring for DOI, fill rates, backorder levels, inventory levels, and excess inventory. Assess and gather business insights from cross‑functional teams and develop countermeasures as appropriate. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business, operations, or supply chain management. Minimum of six months of experience in a support capacity within materials management, supply chain, inventory control, procurement, or completion of two TABS Internship Sessions. Exposure to supply chain principles, inventory metrics, or demand planning processes. Exposure to ERP/MRP systems.
