AbouttheRole AsSeniorOperationsManager,youownthebudget,peopledevelopment,andoperationalobjectivesforamajorfunctionoftheKannapolisFC—InboundorOutbound—acrossthroughput,accuracy,safety,cost,andcustomerexperience.You’llreportdirectlytotheGeneralManager,developateamofOperationsandAreaManagers,drivetheLeanandprocessinitiativesthatmovethebusinessplan,andpartneracrossthecompanytokeepoperationsrunningasastrengthratherthanaconstraint. KeyResponsibilities Ownthesafety,quality,performance,andcustomerexperienceofyourfunction,sustaining5Sdisciplineandleadingroot-causecorrectiveactionacrossshifts. Lead,coach,anddevelopateamofOperationsandAreaManagers—settingexpectations,measuringperformance,andbuildingleadershipbenchstrengthwithintheFC. Ownweeklyandmonthlyperformanceacrossmultipleshifts,drivingconsistentthroughputfrominboundreceivingthroughconditiongrading,put-away,pick/pack,andoutboundshippingagainstunitcost,processingtime,andtime-to-fulfillgoals. Planthreetosixmonthsoutoncapacity,labor,andseasonality,includingcontingentlaborthroughpeak. PartnerwithMerchandising,Tech,andCustomerExperiencetoresolvedeal-batch,purchaseorder,Shopifyorder,andproductdatabaseissuesbeforetheyhitthefloor. Drivequality,processchange,andLeaninitiativesthathelptheFCexceedplan;useoperationaldatatosurfacetrends,testsolutions,andsharebestpracticesacrossthenetwork. WorkcloselywithHR,Finance,Facilities,Safety,andTechnologytosecureresourcesforyourinitiatives. ApplyAItoolstosurfacebottlenecks,optimizeinventoryflows,andsupportlaborandvolumeplanning. BasicQualifications Bachelor'sdegree,orequivalentoperationsleadershipexperience. 7+yearsofdirectmanagementexperience,includingasalariedworkforce,inafulfillment,distribution,manufacturing,orproductionenvironment—withexperienceleadingotherpeopleleaders. Trackrecordwithperformancemetrics,processimprovement,andLeantechniques. Experienceacrossthefullstaffinglifecycle:interviewing,hiring,performancemanagement,promotions,andtermination. Strongdatafluency—proficientinExcel,comfortableinaWMS,abletoturndataintoclearrecommendations. MustbeauthorizedtoworkintheUnitedStates.Sponsorshipnotavailable. PreferredQualifications DegreeinEngineeringorOperations Experienceinrecommerce,returnsprocessing,oranyenvironmentwhereproductconditionisvariable. Continuousimprovementcredentials(Lean,SixSigma)andexperiencemanagingacontingentworkforcethroughpeak. WorkingConditions Non-climate-controlledwarehouseenvironment;temperaturevariesseasonally. Flexibleschedulerequired—hoursalignwithproductionvolume;weekendavailabilityexpected. Regularphysicalactivity:standing,walking,bending,andliftingupto50lbsthroughouttheshift. PayTransparency Thisisafull-time,exemptpositioneligibletoreceiveabasalary.Finalsalaryofferedwillbedeterminedbasedonfactorsincludingbutnotlimitedtothecandidate'sskillsandexperience.
