Cashier/Retail Sales Associate
Hammond Lumber Company, voted 2025's Best Places to Work in Maine, is seeking a full-time cashier/retail sales associate for our Camden, Maine location.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for waiting on customers in person, on the phone and via email
- Processes orders for building materials requested by customers
- Stocks and organizes store shelves as assigned
- Duties could include, but not are not limited to processing receivables and credit returns, filing, expediting, and cashier functions
- Position requires some lifting

Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service preferred
- Excellent telephone skills preferred
- Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast pace environment
