Locum - Physician - Urology - Silverdale, WA

Job Description


Looking for a full time bread and butter Urologist for clinic and call. Clinic Manager will provide clinic tour/orientation before start date. Applicants should be interested in a wide variety of general cases, clinic, rounding, and OR. Candidates should be collegial team players with good patient and customer service skills. Robot onsite at hospital for cases if needed. Will be sole provider in a fast paced/busy dept. Provider may take hospital call during clinic hours.

Assignment Duration: 3-4 months

Start: as soon as credentialed

Total # FTE's needed: 1-2

Rate Caps for Submission:

• Malpractice - Must be included in rates.
• Orientation - half the hourly/callback rate, kicks in after 8 hours. "Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours"

Minimum length of commitment required: 3 months

Minimum number of shifts preferred/month: 5-6 days of call plus clinic

Remote work will include in-basket coverage and triaging patients on schedule to determine urgency/need.

Duties: general urology care in clinic and on call, need a bread and butter urologist for routine care

Required Procedures: bread and butter urology, robot available

Patients per day/volume: 20-25 pts per day

Number of surgeries: 20-30/month

Call Volume (consults vs callback): 20% consults, 80% callback

Admissions: Hospitalist team present

Rounding: Locum will round

EMR: Epic

Reason for Coverage: open position with difficulty in recruiting, current locum unable to keep up in fast paced setting.

Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? no

Submission Requirements
Board Certification - REQUIRED (Can accept Board Eligible)
WA State License - REQUIRED - will accept providers with active IMLC
Clean Malpractice - PREFERRED
BLS - REQUIRED
Availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED (Do not accept candidates that cannot work specified dates-Week of 11/25, 12/30, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 3/17, 3/24, 3/31)
Specific dates and black out dates required for presentation - REQUIRED
