As a Receiving Warehouse Worker at Bright Springs Foods LLC, you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, staging, picking, and packing in our distribution center. Your role will support the overall flow of operations, ensuring accurate and timely handling of inventory.

Responsibilities :

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders, invoices, or packing lists.
• Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies upon arrival.
• Record and document receipts accurately in the company’s inventory.
• Label and tag incoming materials with correct identification information (lot numbers, SKUs, etc.).
• Communicate with purchasing, shipping, and warehouse teams to report any shortages, damages, or errors.
• Unload trucks or containers safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.
• Organize and stage received goods in designated storage locations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date receiving logs and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety rules, and regulatory requirements .
• Assist in inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
• Coordinate returns or damaged goods with logistics or quality control.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Push, pull, reach, bend, and lift 75lbs.
• Stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time.
• Report discrepancies or damages to the supervisor or logistics team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide support to shipping and logistics departments when required.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned as business needs change.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Experience operating a pallet jack, forklift, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Possessing basic math skills.
• Capable of lifting up to 75lbs and able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Skilled at working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal, written, and auditory communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.
• Capacity to maintain composure and politeness under difficult circumstances.
• Aptitude to be available and adjust working hours according to demands.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Workday and hours: 

Monday: 4:00am-until done  

Tuesday: 6:00am-until done

Wednesday: 6:00am-until done

Thursday: 6:00am-until done 

Friday: 6:00am-until done 

Saturday: OFF (if need to work supervisor will advise) 

Sunday: OFF
