Wilmington's award winning gift shop seek an exceptional individual to fill a sales position in an artistic environment. We are open 7 days a week. This position is currently full time with approximately 35-40 hours per week.
We are searching for a professional salesperson interested in working within a team environment who possesses strong customer service, excellent organizational and communication skills, sales and product knowledge. The ideal candidate must have a background in sales and an interest in fine art and craft, which will be beneficial in carrying out the duties of this position. The individual must have advanced experience with computers and cash registers. As an integral part of our small team, applicants must be reliable and have flexible availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Please submit a resume for consideration. - Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers, vendors, and co-workers in person and via phone/email
- Positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused workplace
- Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
- Experienced in computer technology that includes Word, Excel, and Gmail
- Experience with WordPress, Photoshop and Social Media Marketing are a plus
- Ability to organize and maintain orderly systems
Regular Hours of Operation:
Sunday 12-5
Monday - Friday 10-6
Saturday 10-5
*We close for Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
