\n Feed Haul Drivers are professional truck drivers responsible for transporting animal feed from feed mill facilities to farms. \n
\n
\nWe are hiring for 1st and 2nd shift. 1st shift drivers average $1,500/week and work from approximately 1:30 am to 1:30 pm. \n
\n
\n2nd shift drivers average $1,800/week and work from approximately 2:30 pm to 2:30 am. \n
\n
\nFeed Mill Drivers must be able to operate manual transmissions and trailers with bulk hydraulic controls. Drivers ensure the safe and timely delivery of feed to poultry operations. In addition to driving, Feed Haul Drivers may load and unload feed, maintain delivery records, and perform basic vehicle inspections. This job requires a commercial driver's license (CDL) and knowledge of safety regulations related to transporting agricultural goods. \n

\n

\n
• Deliver feed between feed mills, growers and other required destinations.
\n
• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure the safety of your loads.
\n
• Comply with established Company fueling procedures.
\n
• Communicate with dispatchers on a regular basis.
\n
• Comply with DOT, company, biosecurity, FSMA, local, state and federal laws, policies, practices and procedures.
\n
• All other relevant duties to the job.

\n

\n
• Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
\n
• Must be able to operate manual transmissions and trailers with bulk hydraulic controls.
\n
• 1+ year(s) verifiable commercial driving experience required.
\n
• Clean motor vehicle driving record required.
\n

Physical Requirements \n
\n
\n

\n
• Sit and drive for up to 10 hours.
\n
• Regularly climb in and out of truck cab throughout shift.
\n
• Work in outside environment (including inclement weather) on a daily basis.
\n
• Occasionally lift 50+ lbs.
\n
• Work around raw, live animal odors.
\n
