Database Engineer / Administrator
Are you a mission-driven Oracle DBA? Join a high-performance, agile team supporting a critical intelligence program with an immediate opening for a Database Engineer / Administrator. You'll play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing database systems that support fast-paced, real-time missions at the heart of national security.
What You'll Do
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle databases and Oracle Streams replication in a DevOps + Agile SAFe environment.
- Conduct disaster recovery, turning, and performance optimization.
- Design and manage data structures for optimal query and storage efficiency.
- Manage data integrity, availability, and security across mission-critical systems.
- Support system updates, IAVA patching, and incident resolution.
- Write and maintain efficient SQL and PL/SQL scripts.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of professional experience as a Database Administrator.
- 3+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience.
- Bonus: Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
