As a DSP Mentor , you'll play an important leadership role within your home—providing direct support to residents while helping train, mentor, and guide new DSP team members. • Competitive Pay: $19.00 per hour
• Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

As a Direct Support Professional Mentor , you'll provide hands-on support to individuals while serving as a leader and resource for the DSP team.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide direct support, supervision, and protective oversight to individuals served
• Promote independence and help individuals accomplish their personal goals
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while ensuring safety, dignity, and respect
• Onboard, train, coach, and mentor new Direct Support Professionals assigned to your home
• Serve as a positive role model and resource for DSP team members
• Collaborate with the Team Lead or Assistant Manager regarding staffing, attendance, and performance concerns
• Act as a liaison between families, administration, staff, and individuals served to promote consistent, quality care
• Maintain strong communication and teamwork within the home
• Help foster a positive, professional team culture focused on person-centered care
• Promote consistency in daily routines, expectations, and quality of services

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience and direct care experience working with individuals with disabilities or adults age 65 and older
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance in the state of employment
• Ability to understand and complete required documentation
• Medication Management Administration Certificate within 90 days of hire
• Active Mandatory Reporter Certification preferred
• Dependable, compassionate, patient, and able to serve as a positive role model for others
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
