Casual employees work on an ‘as needed’ basis to meet the needs of the business. Work days/hours will often vary from week to week. Specific hours for this posted position will be during the evening. A licensed clinical professional responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services. Focuses on helping clients manage symptoms, improve coping mechanisms, achieve functional goals, and enhance overall psychological well-being. Ideal candidate possesses proficiency in various therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care), and a deep commitment to ethical practice and collaborative care.**Responsibilities:**# **Essential Functions**Clinical Services (65%)* Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments (as pertinent to care model) and determine appropriate levels of care. + Assess for risk of harm to self or others* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.* Provide psychotherapy and counseling services utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.* Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.* Collaborate with other healthcare providers and/or stakeholders to ensure holistic and integrated care.* Crisis Intervention + Respond to mental health crises and provide immediate support. + De-escalate crises and promote safety. + Facilitate and deliver critical incident response services and offer psychoeducation as requested + Connect clients with appropriate resources and services.Documentation (30%)* Maintain accurate, timely and confidential client records including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.Administrative Duties (5%)* Maintain productivity standards as required by program management* Participate in staff meetings and training* Assist with program development and evaluation.* Invest in regular networking with stakeholders and/or the community to promote the program and services, answer questions and ensure referrals.* Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure efficient operations.Other Job Duties as Assigned**Schedule:**This is a casual position.
