Position Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time

Compensation: $65,000 - $78,000 / year (Dependent on Experience)

In this pivotal direct-hire role, you will lead from the front—taking ownership of a premier 175,000+ sq. ft. multi-building campus, managing site budgets, and mentoring a dedicated team of 8+ facility professionals. What You’ll Do:

• Empower & Inspire Your Team: Direct, mentor, and motivate a crew of 8+ facility and custodial staff. You will foster a positive work culture, set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and champion your team’s ongoing professional growth.
• Oversee Campus Operations: Keep the facility running smoothly! You’ll plan and direct daily housekeeping, groundskeeping, and routine upkeep across large-scale grounds.
• Master Technical & Security Standards: Hands-on oversight of preventive maintenance, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and mechanical operations. You’ll also lead facility safety protocols, emergency lighting checks, and security readiness.
• Manage Fiscal & Material Resources: Take charge of site-level operating, supply, and overtime budgets. Partner with trusted vendors and select the best tools, equipment, and eco-friendly products for your team.
• Build Great Relationships: Screen and onboard top talent, navigate labor relations with fairness and clarity, and maintain fantastic communication across departments.
• Be the Go-To Essential Leader: Serve as a critical site lead during high-priority situations, campus events, and weather-related calls.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Proven Leadership: 3+ years of facility management or operations experience, with at least 1 year successfully leading a mid-to-large team.
• Technical Savvy: Solid working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, basic electrical/plumbing), floor care techniques, and safety regulations.
• Strong Drive & Independence: A proactive self-starter who anticipates needs, solves problems creatively, and keeps quality high.
• Communication & Tech Skills: Great interpersonal skills paired with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and work-order management software.
• Credentials: High School Diploma/GED required (Bachelor’s preferred), a valid Driver’s License with a clean 3-year record, and a flexible mindset for 24/7 on-call emergency readiness.
