Maintenance Supervisor

Shift Details 1st Shift 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. On Call Required. Maintenance Supervisor Overview The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and participate in daily maintenance operations at the Lavonia, GA facility, including executing preventative maintenance schedules, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, supervising maintenance technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role involves close collaboration with the Multisite Operational Excellence Manager to implement maintenance strategies and optimize equipment performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Execute preventative maintenance schedules and work orders. Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions. Supervise and lead maintenance technicians on-site. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in MaintainX. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Collaborate with the NA Operations Manager to optimize equipment performance. Order parts and maintain inventory. Ensure proper functionality of all building systems. Assist in training new maintenance personnel. Job Qualifications Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: Associate's in a related field Experience Required: 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Preferred: 2+ years of supervisory experience Hard Skills Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of PLCs and VFDs Knowledge of HVAC systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Soft Skills Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities Attention to detail and organizational skills Working in a collaborative environment Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems Understanding of safety and environmental regulations Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment Certifications/Licenses Preferred: HVAC certification, Electrical certification Other Requirements Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks including lifting and climbing Pre‑employment Requirements Background check Drug screening Pulmonary Fit Test Shift / Hours Full‑time, 40 hours per week Start date: As soon as possible Hiring priority: Urgent Character Traits for Success Interpersonal Relations: Exhibits respect and understanding of others to maintain professional relationships.
