Title: GMP Manager Job Description: Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 per year Job Overview The GMP Manager will be responsible for coordinating and directing operations necessary to carry out contractual responsibilities between SBM and customers including all necessary planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor and supply contact, customer relations and other high level managerial or supervisory responsibilities. Roles & Responsibilities Develop work schedules to ensure adequate service. Prepare schedules for service personnel and assign personnel to routes. Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of establishments for program compliance (safety, quality, and service). Audit and maintain inventories of supplies and equipment. Investigate and promote improved equipment and methods. Review customer service requests to determine cause, type of malfunction, and address with management. Implement organization policies and goals. Facilitate budget requests to identify areas where reductions can be made. Inspect plant and evaluate use of space and facilities. Assist with plans, budgets, and schedule modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, and contracts. Participate in the development of long‑range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements for program/process improvements. Assist with coordination of program specifications, proposal requirements, contracts, and associated documents. Collect data for preparing estimates, labor hours, expenses, and other metrics. Maintain a safe working environment for self and employees. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations such as FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc. Direct supervisory management engaged in support of facilities programs. Act as liaison between company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors. Maintain contract and contractor status databases. Review correspondence concerning contractors and respond as appropriate. Establish and maintain contact with contractors to ensure smooth contract processes. Conduct and attend meetings to communicate consistently with customers, clients, and employees. Assist with human‑resource concerns and issues. Travel may be required for this position. Qualifications Education and/or Experience Associate’s Degree required with 2+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations CPR/AED/First Aid certification (a plus). Valid driver’s license required. Completed all safety and task‑training certifications. Forklift certification may be required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bilingual (a plus). Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and willingness to share with team. Knowledge of upkeep and care of cleaning equipment. Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe, efficient use. Customer service, problem solving, time management, project management, planning, excellent communication, presentation, interviewing, coaching, and training skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, employees, and the general public. Supervisory Responsibilities Carrying out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensuring employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements. Physical Demands & Work Environment The physical demands described are representative of those that a employee must be able to meet in order to perform the essential functions of the job. The employee is frequently required to sit, talk or listen, and must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. The work environment is characterized by regular office activities and occasional on‑site visits where walking, standing, and use of standard office equipment take place.
