Sales Account Manager

About the role: 

Dabwoods is one of the most recognizable cannabis lifestyle brands, known for pushing the boundaries of flavor, innovation, and consumer experience. We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Account Manager to help expand across key markets and retail partners. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the cannabis retail landscape, and is passionate about building strong, long-term customer relationships. The Sales Account Manager will oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting new accounts to supporting existing partners and driving consistent revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively sell Dabwoods products to new and existing accounts, including dispensaries, distributors, and key retail partners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, and inbound lead follow-up.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring strong relationships, consistent reorder activity, and brand growth.
• Educate retail partners on Dabwoods product lines, device innovations, and upcoming launches.
• Coordinate promotional strategies, merchandising opportunities, and in-store visibility initiatives.
• Prepare quotes, sales orders, and product recommendations based on customer needs and market demand.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through disciplined pipeline management.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activity within CRM tools, including follow-ups and account notes.
• Collaborate internally with marketing, operations, and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and partner visits to strengthen brand presence and drive sales.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development (cannabis industry experience strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of cannabis retail environments, product categories, and consumer trends.
• Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and close deals.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple accounts and priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident, professional presence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); CRM experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for account visits, events, and trade shows as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:
