Delivery Consultant, Data Engineering and Gen AI Join Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice as a Consultant, Data Engineering and help deliver data solutions that support mission-driven outcomes. In this role, you will contribute to the design, build, and execution of data engineering and conversion solutions for government clients. You will work across data migration, integration, and validation activities to help clients modernize platforms and scale their data capabilities within Deloitte’s US Delivery Center model. In this role you will be responsible for: Designing, building, testing, and maintaining data pipelines and data integration workflows Supporting the development and deployment of cloud-based data engineering solutions for analytics and artificial intelligence use cases Preparing, transforming, and validating structured and unstructured data for downstream reporting, modeling, and operational use Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improve data quality, and optimize platform performance Documenting technical designs, development activities, and production support procedures in alignment with project standards Key Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or Engineering 3+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting data pipelines and data integration solutions 3+ years of experience with Python and Structured Query Language 2+ years of experience with cloud-based data engineering tools or platforms 1+ year of experience supporting artificial intelligence or generative artificial intelligence data use cases Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
