Registered Dietitian (RD)- Contract Consultant

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian for an Assisted Living Community. The consultant will conduct quarterly onsite visits (5 hours per visit) to complete food safety and sanitation audits, meal/dining observation audits, and provide nutrition referrals for high‑risk residents. You will work closely with the clinical team to monitor residents’ nutritional needs, provide nutrition education, develop MDS with the team, and conduct nutrition assessments with input from your dining manager. Additionally, you will guide all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices, to maintain regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff, and assist with policy development. Your role also entails monitoring the implementation of effective nutritional care systems. QUALIFICATIONS Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) credentials Licensed (if required by state) Preferred: 2 years of consulting experience, especially in Long‑Term Care. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential. Ability to coach and mentor others and represent our company professionally is required. WORK SCHEDULE Some flexibility during the Monday‑Friday schedule. Experience Clinical Nutrition: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification CDR authorization from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required) State license, if required for RD (Required) Work Location In person. #J-18808-Ljbffr
