CNC Machinist

Overview CNC Horizontal Machinist – 1st or 2nd shift. At WALCO Tool & Engineering, we build precision components in a clean, organized and quality-driven environment. Responsibilities Set up and run CNC horizontal milling machines Perform contour milling, drilling, boring, and tapping Read blueprints and maintain tight tolerances Inspect your own work – quality matters here Keep machines running smoothly and efficiently Qualifications 7+ years of CNC horizontal machining experience – setup and operation Ability to perform multiple set-ups daily Strong blueprint reading skills Solid understanding of G & M codes Experience working with various materials such as steel, aluminum, cast iron and alloys High attention to detail and pride in your work Ability to physically lift/push/pull objects up to 40 lbs. Standard measuring tools required Why WALCO?
