PRN Overnight Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Research Studies

3-Month PRN Contract | November January | Overnight Shifts

Responsibilities

• Monitor adult and pediatric clinical research participants during overnight studies.
• Arrive between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM to relieve permanent nursing staff.
• Work 10-12 hour overnight shifts on an as-needed basis.
• Accurately document participant observations and study-related activities.
• Collect and manage specimens, including urine and fecal samples, according to protocol requirements.
• Ensure study protocols are followed and participant safety is maintained at all times.
• Serve as the onsite licensed healthcare professional during overnight study operations.
• Collaborate with research teams and communicate effectively with participants and caregivers.

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in an overnight clinical setting.
• Clinical research experience is not required.
• Experience caring for adult and/or pediatric patients.
• Prior experience in hospital, outpatient, specialty care, or research settings.

This is a Contract position based out of Fairway, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
