Responsibilities: Performroutinepreventivemaintenanceservices,includingoilchanges,lubrication,filterreplacement,andinspections. Diagnoseandrepairdieselengines,transmissions,clutches,drivetrains,suspensions,steeringsystems,andbrakes. Inspectandrepairelectrical,hydraulic,air,andfuelsystems. PerformDOTinspectionsandensurecompliancewithfederalandstateregulations. Troubleshootmechanicalandelectricalissuesusingdiagnostictoolsandsoftware. Repairorreplacetires,wheels,andsuspensioncomponentsasneeded. Maintainandrepairtrailers,includinglightingsystems,airbrakes,andstructuralcomponents. Completeworkordersanddocumentrepairsaccurately. Maintainacleanandsafeworkenvironmentandfollowallcompanysafetyprocedures. Respondtoroadcallsandemergencyrepairswhenrequired. Communicaterepairneedsandequipmentstatuswithsupervisorsandfleetpersonnel. Assistinmaintainingpartsinventoryandshopequipment. Requirements: HighschooldiplomaorGED. Minimumof2yearsofexperiencerepairingheavy-dutytrucksordieselequipment. Knowledgeofdieselengines,airbrakesystems,electricalsystems,andhydrauliccomponents. Abilitytoreadandinterpretservicemanuals,schematics,andtechnicaldocuments. Experienceusingdiagnosticsoftwareandtools. Validdriver'slicenserequired. Abilitytoworkindependentlyandaspartofateam. Strongtroubleshootingandproblem-solvingskills. Weldingandfabricationexperienceaplus. PreviousexperienceperformingDOTinspections.
