BOS Medical Staffing is looking for an experienced RN to work in a Pain Management Clinic located in Sandy Springs, GA. Available Hours: 3-4 Month Contract 8:30a-3p Monday-Thursday Responsibilities Performs complete nursing assessments on clients using all available sources of information Interviews clients and/or natural supports using acceptable techniques that are appropriate for individual's level of functioning to obtain information regarding medical, social, and/or emotional background Collaborates effectively with physicians, clinicians and other treatment team members in the development of an appropriate plan of care Administers medication(s) in the proper method, time, and dosage as ordered by the MD Count controlled substances, syringes, needles, and sharps at the beginning of each shift with another staff member and sign count logs Respect the dignity and confidentiality of patients. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations. Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations. Experience working in a clinic is preferred.
