ERP System AdministratorThis position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an ERP System Administrator based in United States.This role is responsible for administering and supporting a business-critical Epicor ERP environment across multiple company instances. You will help keep manufacturing, finance, quality, and other core business operations running smoothly through reliable system administration and user support. Working as part of an established ERP team alongside application development and IT functions, you will have ownership of a critical enterprise platform rather than operating as a standalone administrator. The role combines day-to-day troubleshooting with security administration, environment management, solution deployment, integrations, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with business users, technical teams, infrastructure partners, and ERP vendors to maintain system performance and alignment with business needs. This is an opportunity to deepen your Epicor expertise while expanding into broader ERP and business-systems responsibilities over time.Accountabilities:Administer user accounts, security groups, role-based permissions, licenses, field/method-level security, and menu structures across multiple company instances.Serve as the first point of contact for ERP support, triaging, troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting day-to-day user issues while conducting root-cause analysis and developing scalable solutions.Escalate complex development-related issues to the application development team and coordinate effectively across ERP, IT, infrastructure, database, and business teams.Deploy BAQs, UBAQs, BPMs, dashboards, Application Studio customizations, and other solutions across development, pilot, and production environments, using Solution Workbench for solution promotion and version control.Own and administer the ERP ticketing process, including logging, prioritizing, tracking, reporting, and coordinating requests.Support project management for ERP module rollouts, implementations, and other system initiatives.Maintain the Epicor application environment and database availability, including SQL Server, Task Agent, SSRS, application servers, and related environments.Coordinate infrastructure activities, patching, upgrades, environment refreshes, and managed-service activities with external hosting partners.Monitor system health, performance, scheduled processes, integrations, and Epicor functions while supporting SQL Server maintenance activities such as indexes and transaction logs.Verify successful nightly backups and coordinate weekly backup verification.Maintain external database integrations and help ensure reliable data flow across business systems.Create and maintain documentation covering configurations, security roles, deployments, and standard operating procedures.Develop end-user training materials and support ERP adoption, standardization, and effective system usage across sites.Identify and drive continuous-improvement opportunities in ERP processes and business use of Epicor, including additional initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.RequirementsAssociate's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or a combination of education and hands-on ERP/BI administration experience with at least 3 years of relevant experience.4+ years of hands-on Epicor ERP administration experience is required, with Epicor E10/Kinetic experience strongly preferred.Demonstrated experience managing data loads for Epicor implementations using the Data Management Tool (DMT).Experience with user security, menu maintenance, and multi-company Epicor administration.Experience working in manufacturing, particularly engineer-to-order or configure-to-order environments.Working knowledge of BAQs, including the ability to read, troubleshoot, and deploy them, as well as familiarity with Epicor customizations and Application Studio.Hands-on ability to read, troubleshoot, and deploy BAQs, UBAQs, BPMs, dashboards, Application Studio customizations, SSRS reports, DMT solutions, and Power BI; development experience is a strong plus.Strong SQL and REST API integration skills, with scripting and automation experience using Python or PowerShell considered a plus.Familiarity with Git-based version control and ERP automation is beneficial.Experience with pipeline orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or similar technologies is a plus.Familiarity with hosted or managed Epicor environments in GCCH is preferred.ERP module implementation or project management experience is preferred.Working knowledge of ITAR and CMMC 2.0 compliance within an ERP environment is required.Strong troubleshooting, end-user support, written communication, and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while working independently and taking initiative to drive tasks through completion.Familiarity with the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) cycle is preferred.Must be a U.S. Person as defined under ITAR (22 CFR 120.62).BenefitsSalary range of $100,000–$105,000 USD.Fully remote position within the United States.Opportunity to work within an established ERP team alongside dedicated application development and IT functions.Broad exposure to manufacturing, finance, quality, infrastructure, integrations, and business systems.Opportunity to take ownership of a business-critical ERP platform and develop broader ERP and business-systems expertise.Collaboration with internal technical and business teams as well as ERP software vendors and third-party technology providers.Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
