This role focuses on the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial power systems according to work instructions and drawings.
• Wire components and power systems following detailed process sheets and drawings.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures to complete assembly tasks.
• Measure, cut, route, and terminate wiring accurately based on engineering specifications and diagrams.
• Verify correct placement and secure installation of electrical components and mechanical parts within assemblies.

Essential Skills

• Experience wiring components in a manufacturing, assembly, or related environment.
• Proficiency using hand tools and power tools, including power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.

Work Environment

The role is based in a large, open-bay production facility with multiple workstations and bays dedicated to different stages of assembly. The production floor is not climate controlled, so temperatures will reflect seasonal conditions; industrial-sized ceiling fans help keep air moving, but there is no air conditioning. You will work around forklifts and various types of manufacturing machinery and will be expected to follow all safety protocols. Standard personal protective equipment includes safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear protection as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Jacksonville,FL.
