Job Title Registered Nurse - Unit/Geriatric Psychiatry Unit Job Summary As a Registered Nurse in the Unit/Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and comprehensive care to elderly patients with mental health disorders. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Responsibilities and Duties Conduct initial health assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide ongoing support to patients Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices in psychiatric nursing Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families Qualifications and Skills Valid RN license in the state of practice Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing or geriatric care Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team setting and under pressure Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care #J-18808-Ljbffr ANCESTOR HEALTH
