Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and possess strong teamwork skills. The ICU consists of 9 beds with patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1. Our focus on patient experience includes implementing AIDET and BSSR during bedside shift reports to meet Press Ganey goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in an ICU setting.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered.
• Utilize advanced equipment, including ventilators and IV drip titration.
• Manage arterial lines and facilitate procedures such as intubation and central line insertions.
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech system.
• Participate in unit activities and support new graduate RNs.
• Float to Med-Surg or ED as needed for critical staffing needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and support new RNs.
