Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a Cardiac Catheterization and/or Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting
• Assist with cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, STEMI response, stent placement, and EP procedures
• Support procedural cases including biopsies and peripheral vascular, GI, and GU/Renal interventions
• Administer blood and blood products, operate syringe pumps, and manage cooling/warming blankets
• Perform and obtain 12-lead EKGs and execute cardioversion and defibrillation as required
• Fulfill on-call obligations, including a minimum of one weekday and one weekend per month

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab, or interventional procedural nursing
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Demonstrated competency with cardioversion/defibrillation, 12-lead EKG acquisition, syringe pumps, and blood/blood product administration
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Willingness to float to nearby sister facilities as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in STEMI response and interventional radiology procedures
• Experience with peripheral vascular, GI, and GU/Renal procedural cases
• Previous travel nursing experience in a Cath Lab or EP setting
