Project Manager

A structural steel fabricator serving the Covington, KY area needs an experienced Project Manager to drive fabrication projects from award to erection. You'll be the hub between the shop floor, detailers, and steel erectors so schedule, budget, and quality stay on target.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate closely with steel erectors on sequencing, delivery schedules, field issues, and site logistics
• Manage fabricated steel projects from contract award through closeout: scope, schedule, budget, and change orders
• Track costs, billing, and production progress, and flag risks early
• Work with detailers, engineers, and the shop to keep drawings, approvals, and fabrication on track
• Run project meetings with general contractors, owners, and erectors; manage RFIs and submittals

What You Bring:

• 8+ years of project management in structural steel fabrication or steel erection
• Proven experience coordinating with steel erectors and field crews
• Able to read structural and shop drawings
• Strong communication, scheduling, and cost-control skills
• Engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
