Paralegal - Trial & Defense Litigation

Los Angeles, CA | Hybrid - Only in Office 2 days/week 35 Hour Work Week A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Trial & Defense team in Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned paralegal looking to work on sophisticated defense-side litigation while joining a highly regarded, collaborative team. What You’ll Be Doing: Manage and support a busy civil litigation caseload Assist with discovery, including demands, responses, document review and production Prepare privilege logs and organize large document productions Assist with deposition preparation, exhibits and transcript summaries Draft pleadings, discovery documents, trial lists and other litigation materials Monitor court dockets and electronic filing notifications Handle state and federal e-filing Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial and post-trial Maintain case files, deadlines and case-tracking spreadsheets What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience Strong civil litigation background Experience drafting pleadings and other litigation documents State and/or federal e-filing experience Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a fast-paced caseload Experience supporting defense-side litigation , including products liability, toxic tort, personal injury defense, transportation/trucking, premises liability, insurance defense or general liability matters, is particularly relevant.
