Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Wyomissing, Pennsylvania location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient service. The role operates Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with rotating Saturday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Accurately enter patient information and maintain specimen logs
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from accredited program or 3+ months experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record in customer service
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
