Not only is Texas Collision CLOSED ON WEEKENDS, but our schedule is set...We are open 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday! AND... we pay WEEKLY!

Job Summary:

• Performs basic maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacement, and multi-point inspections. Works under senior technicians.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs basic maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacement, and multi-point inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools, scanners, and software to identify and resolve issues accurately.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct thorough inspections and road tests to verify repairs.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer and safety standards.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Review and verify repair work when necessary.
• Work closely with service advisors to communicate repair needs and timelines.
• Help prioritize workflow and improve shop productivity.
• Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Own tools (basic set).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.
• Ability to read service and repair manuals.
• Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• ASE G1 (Maintenance & Light Repair) — helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
• Must be able to inspect vehicle to determine repairs needed.
• Good vision to inspect repair work.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
• Must be able to reach below and above shoulder level.
• Must comply with all safety requirements.
