- Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 45 patients per day
FACILITY INFORMATION
- No. of Beds in Department: 7 ED beds; 3 Fast Track beds
- EMR System: Cerner Community Works
- Specialty Backup Available: Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Podiatry, Surgery
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (clean file required)
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active LA license, DEA, and CDS required
- Board: BC/BE in EM/FM/IM with Emergency Medicine experience
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS required if not ABEM certified
- Experience: Residency trained in EM/FM/IM required
- Other Qualifications: CME and case logs required; LA PCF required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate and treat acute and critical patients
- Manage patient flow in ED setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
