Job Description Help Use digital data to input, retrieve, create and maintain geospatial and tabular data to support a natural resources program. Identify changes in data and communicate the difference to ensure correct and complete information exists in the Forest Service Activity Tracking System (FACTS) or related integrated database system. Maintain data in databases to ensure consistency and integrity of geospatial data and products. Apply knowledge of forestry practices and specific resource attributes and techniques to adapt and manipulate software and databases for providing users the information needed to accomplish work on the ground. Provide maps and information from database systems to customers and program managers for natural resource/vegetation management project planning. Create and update maps for contracts and contract modifications to accomplish forestry/natural resource work.
