Federal Financial Systems Developer

Your first assignment

Your first assignment is to help build the financial platform that replaces a federal agency's legacy fee-management system, configuring CGI Momentum and authoring the LogicNets decision logic that automates fee verification, invoicing, and refunds. You will build on Momentum, wire up the integrations, and help move real data off the old system onto the new one. The work is real, hard, and it matters. It is also where you start, not the shape of your career here: we hire people, not seats, and we move our best to where the hardest problems are.

What you'll build

• Configured Momentum Financials and LogicNets decision logic that together turn a manual fee process into automated verification, invoicing, and refunds.
• The reporting and integration around it: Power BI or Pyramid reporting, plus web services and Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) integration that keep the data flowing and clean.
• In time, the firm itself: new capabilities, tools, and lines of business you help spin up.

Who you are

You are precise and take ownership of getting financial data right, because in this work, close enough is not good enough. You like building on a real platform and seeing a manual process become an automated one. You experiment, fail, learn, and repeat quickly. You would rather own an outcome than be handed a task.

What you bring

• Hands-on configuration and build on CGI Momentum, across Financials configuration, data structures, SQL, and reporting.
• The integration and migration craft around it: LogicNets rule authoring plus moving data off legacy systems onto a modern platform.
• The judgment to build in a regulated environment where accuracy and auditability are not optional.

What you'll need

U.S. citizenship (this initial engagement may be staffed by U.S. citizens only) and the ability to obtain a Public Trust determination. This is a hybrid role based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and it requires commuting into DC regularly. Everything else, the years, the certifications, the specific tools, we ask in the application and get into during the interview.
