Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans. \n
- Facilitate engaging one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to meet clients’ unique needs. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to mental health care, ensuring all aspects of a client’s well-being are addressed. \n
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on industry best practices and emerging therapies. \n
- Contribute to program development and improvement initiatives by proposing innovative treatment modalities or methods to enhance client care. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their safety and emotional stability. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential client records, adhering to ethical and legal standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations. \n
- Engage in peer supervision and feedback, fostering an environment of mutual support and learning among colleagues. \n
Your clients may vary widely in age and background, encompassing individuals facing a range of challenges, including emotional, relational, and trauma-related issues. You’ll work with clients in the community, offering them the tools they need to improve their mental health and live fulfilling lives. By establishing strong rapport and trust, you will create a safe space for them to explore their feelings, thoughts, and life experiences.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n
- Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in California. \n
- Commitment to cultural competence and delivering inclusive and affirming care to clients from diverse backgrounds. \n
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to connect with clients empathetically. \n

- A minimum of two years' experience in mental health counseling is preferred, although not required. \n
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, enhancing the ability to document and manage client progress effectively. \n
- Experience providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, focusing on a variety of mental health issues. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients quickly and effectively. \n
We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 commensurate with experience. Full-time counselors receive a monthly healthcare stipend, access to our platform's services as clients, and flexible scheduling to accommodate personal commitments.
