JOB INFORMATION Job Title: Control Center Operator III Job Code: 20002019 Effective Date: 11/01/2023 Job Family: Operations FLSA Status: Non Exempt Job Function: Control Center Job Level: Skilled III Job Summary Operates the organization's 24-hour pipeline system surveillance and flow control | Oversees pipeline operations planning function that includes outage coordination, capacity determination, volume planning and input into operating strategies | Operates the control room to ensure optimal use of the organization's transmission system While this job description aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the role, it may not detail every task or responsibility required. Job Requirements Communications, oral and written Auditing Attention to Detail Data Analysis Decision Making Performance Monitoring Safety and Environmental compliance Troubleshooting Reporting Standards and Procedures Prioritizing Solutions Successful in critical situations Accountable for the for the Operations of Assigned unit with the ability to operate multiple units Analyzes specifications and controls continuous operation of processing units to produce products, such as gasoline, kerosene, and fuel and lubricating oils Reads processing schedules, operating logs, and laboratory recommendations to determine changes in equipment controls required to produce specified quantity and quality of product Reports on any process or flow variances Monitors process via console readings by reviewing all the different pipelines to ensure product is flowing without issue, Monitors for errors or alarms May control activities of several processing units operated simulataneously Qualified on 3 or more consoles Continue to improve on skills and knowledge to move up level(s) within the role Must successfully complete refresher training as required While this job description aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the role, it may not detail every task or responsibility required.
