Business Analyst, Trust Platform Conversion

We need a techno-functional BA who can connect trust and wealth business needs to platform features. You'll turn business, ops, data, and regulatory needs into clear requirements, and work with business teams, vendors, architects, developers, data teams, and testers from start to finish. Strong trust or wealth domain knowledge and hands-on conversion experience are essential.

Where you'll focus

• Set up and run discovery sessions and workshops to learn processes, decisions, risks, and dependencies.
• Write requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, data needs, and acceptance criteria.
• Compare business needs with vendor features, and flag what needs configuration, integration, custom work, or a process change.
• Cover trust admin, investments, account opening and onboarding, servicing, and regulatory reporting.
• Map data from the old system to the new one, including transformation rules, reconciliation, validation, migration testing, and cutover.
• Review integrations, interfaces, data flows, and how upstream and downstream systems connect.
• Keep traceability from design through build and stabilization.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect triage, business sign-off, release readiness, and post-conversion checks.
• Work with vendors, third parties, architects, and engineers to test and approve solutions.

Trust and wealth experience we're looking for

• Hands-on work on a trust or wealth platform build, conversion, migration, modernization, or integration.
• Requirements work for trust admin, investments, onboarding, servicing, or reporting.
• Understanding of trust and wealth products, processes, controls, and data.
• Experience with data mapping, reconciliation, and conversion testing.
• Familiarity with OCC and SEC rules where they apply.

You must have

• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years as a business analyst, business systems analyst, technical BA, product analyst, or similar.
• Hands-on experience implementing or converting a trust or wealth platform.
• Experience writing functional requirements, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, data mappings, and traceability documents.
• Experience with data conversion, system integrations, SIT/UAT, defect resolution, and implementation work.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and the software development lifecycle.
• Strong analysis, facilitation, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder skills.

Bonus points

• Platform selection, vendor evaluation, fit-gap work, or large transformation programs.
• API-led integrations, cloud modernization, workflow redesign, or complex integrations.
• Consulting or systems integration work in trust, wealth, investment management, private banking, custody, or fiduciary services.

You can show what you personally delivered on a platform implementation or conversion. You turn complex business needs into practical, testable solutions, understand platform and data dependencies, work through ambiguity, and collaborate well across business, vendor, and technology teams.
