As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Moreland, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and customer assistance at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout storefront areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues, and report concerns according to site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities by providing direction to occupants, assisting with crowd management, and communicating clearly with local responders and site representatives as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• A CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
