We are currently seeking an experienced Mid-level Traffic Engineer to support and grow our Transportation Practice in one of our Ohio offices (Dayton, Cleveland, or Columbus). Salary Range $95,000-135,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards. Technical engineering responsibilities may include: Traffic impact studies Traffic operations analyses Safety studies Signal system design Signal timing plans Maintenance of traffic Pavement markings and signage Highway lighting design Corridor studies Ability to identify project issues and facilitate resolution. Ability to analyze situations and identify ways to improve efficiency. Maintain client relationships. Ability to work in a team setting collaboratively with groups of other traffic and transportation/civil engineers. Occasionally visit work sites, monitoring project progress and reports findings. Ability to meet all safety requirements if/when visiting a work site. Other duties as assigned.

TRAFFIC ENGINEER- ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS

Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering P.E. license 4+ years of experience Experience with tools such as Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, SIDRA, TransModeler, AutoCAD/Open Roads Designer and Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications PTOE certification. Experience working with state DOTs. Knowledge of the Highway Capacity Manual and ODOT Analysis and Traffic Simulation (OATS) Manual. Core Skills Strong technical background with good client relationships. Strong written and verbal communication. Why Join LJB?
