Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. As part of a Level I Trauma Center, you will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
• Work collaboratively within a team nursing model, supporting a patient ratio of 1:7.
• Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a medical-surgical nursing role.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in a large hospital setting is essential.
• Must possess a current, valid nursing license in compliance with NLC guidelines.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position: 48 hours per week, Day shifts.
• Weekend rotations as needed.
• Please note that block scheduling is not available.

Additional Requirements

• Travel nursing experience is essential.
• Must adhere to a strict 100-mile radius rule for local candidates.
