We are a family located in Leavenworth, Kansas, seeking a dedicated elder care provider to join us in a part-time, live-out position with flexible schedule a few days to 5 days a week. The role primarily involves companionship and home care for my 80 year old mother with newly diagnosed dementia/degeneration due to age. We value a compassionate and reliable individual who can provide comfort and support. As a companion, your responsibilities will include engaging in meaningful conversations, organizing activities, and ensuring overall well-being. In addition to companionship, you will also assist with personal care tasks, ensuring one meal per day is eaten, and administer medication as needed.
