• We offer a combined paid time off (PTO) policy which incorporates state paid sick leave with company paid time off at an accrual rate of 0.0607 per hour worked, equivalent to 120 hours of PTO at 2,080 hours worked in a year. The PTO accrual rate increases after two years of service and again after five years of service.
• We offer 6 Paid Holidays (8 hours - full time, 6 hours - part-time per event, excluding on-call staff) and 1 Personal Holiday of Choice per year (excluding on-call staff).

The Maintenance Technician I will perform basic to intermediate maintenance services within a continuum of care retirement community (CCRC). Maintenance services span across resident work orders, unit refurbishment, and a preventive maintenance program. The maintenance technician will also be responsible for facilities upkeep, ordering and organizing inventory, and utilizing an electronic maintenance system to retrieve, enter, and update maintenance services performed.

What you'll do

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the campus.
• Complete work orders for residents.
• Refurbish units for new occupants (i.e. painting, equipment installation and replacement, cleaning, and quality assurance).
• May assist with resident move-in, move-out process.
• Maintain facilities and grounds for visual appeal, safety, and resident satisfaction.
• Perform safety checks and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery services (i.e. supplies, mail, deliveries, etc.)
• Assist with set-up and clean up of special events.
• Apply Lean methodology to shop upkeep and inventory practices.
• Conduct emergency drills and respond to actual emergencies and alarms.
• Learn and apply Company, Federal, State, and local rules, regulations, and policies
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Salary Range: $22.25 to $32.72 per hour
